Server rankings, scanned every five minutes.

Servers are ordered by how many players are connected right now, with their recent history used to show whether that number is steady or fading. A server that holds 200 players through the week outranks one that spikes to 400 on wipe day and empties by Tuesday. Nothing on this site changes the order for money.

The counts come from Steam's public Rust server list and direct queries to the servers themselves. Every public server is scanned on a five-minute cycle, so player numbers, queues and wipe reports are never far behind the servers you would see in-game. If a server goes quiet or drops off the list, its rank follows.

Counts are at most five minutes old, and the history behind each rank is kept from those regular scans. A wipe is recorded within about five minutes of a server reporting a new world, so the wipe schedule calendar and the countdown stay in step with what servers are actually doing.

Start with the full server browser and filter by region, mode, group limit and gather rate, then sort by live players or next wipe. The top lists cover the common searches: vanilla, modded, official, EU, US and just wiped. If you are new, the beginner list is the quieter place to start.
